Patrick & Henry Community College’s Foundation Board of Directors welcomed three new members at its fall meeting. Jason Davis, Jaime Miller, and Jackie Thornton join the board’s members and will serve three-year terms.

Davis is the Managing Director of Blue Ridge Regional Airport and President of Martinsville Mustangs. A Navy veteran and commercial pilot, Davis enjoys serving the community through membership on MHC’s C-PEG Chambers Partnership for Economic Growth and the West Piedmont Workforce Investment Board and the Virginia Airport Operators Council. He and his wife, Tonya, have two sons.

Miller is the HR Generalist at Press Glass, Inc. Outside of work, Jaime is the Blue Ridge Human Resource Association chapter president and serves on the ARC Advisory Committee and Commuter Assistant Program (RIDE Solutions) Strategic Plan Steering Committee.

Thornton is a proud graduate and Distinguished Alumni of Patrick & Henry Community College who is retired from a career in corporate human resources. Jackie relocated to the King’s Grant Community upon the death of her husband. Along with a fellow resident, she started the Grief Chat Group for those residents who have experienced the death of a spouse. She is also a volunteer at Piedmont Arts and is chairman of the 2024/25 Giving Campaign, a member of Women in Philanthropy for Southwestern Virginia, and a Board Member for Theatre Works Community Players where she serves on the finance committee.

“We are thrilled to welcome Jason, Jaime and Jackie to our board of directors,” stated Tiffani Underwood, Associate Vice President of Institutional Advancement and Executive Director of the P&HCC Foundation. “Their expertise will be instrumental in forging new opportunities to support our mission. We look forward to working together to make a lasting impact on our community.”
